Minutes for March 4 ,2008

-President Hagar called meeting to order at 7:02

-Pledge of allegiance to the flag

-Accept minutes for December 4, 2007 . Motion by Kevin Carroll, Second

by Ron Brunetti. Motion passed by members present at meeting.

Reports of officers:

-Treasury report by Joe Midili

-Secretary Warren Flatt - none at this time

-V.P Scott Edminsten- Commissioner Kingsley ask Scott E. to host

committee as a rep. President Hagar pointed out this is a step. The

Union has not committed to back anyone as of this time. This is a step

to help out.

-President Troy Hagar- Discussion on recent Board of county

commissioner meeting

-Cheryl Ales expressed feeling on rumors about dispatch. Discussion followed.

-President Hagar spoke about being approached from Brooksville FD and

International about Brooksville joining the union. Discussion followed

and body census is to go and talk to them and discuss options.

President Hagar is also going to contact other locals in similar situations.

Relay of life

-Relay of life is at Nature Coast. Website is up to join ROL team.

Union Rally

This is A shift weekend and looking into April 25,26,and 27th.

President Hagar apologized for late start on rally this year.

Negotiations update

-Letter was sent to Administration to start negotiations. This is only

a financial year. Would like to try to meet this month

New business

NPRFD fundraiser

-Jeff Palmer is going to get more info

-Donation for HSCO explorers golf tournament. Motion made by William

Eagle to donate $50 for hole. Second by Mark Watson, motion passed by

body present.

-Donation for Jim Monk scholarship fund. Motion made by Dan Papa,

second by Kevin Carroll. Motion passed by body present.

-Baskin Robins and National fallen firefighter discussion. Possibility

of administration sending on line personal to help

-Union license plates. John Liparito can make old style plates for

$8.00 each. Census by body present is to wait till after November.

- Will be looking for union time pool donations. We are below what we

usual carry in bank.

-administration changes discussion followed. President Hagar expressed

that after this discussion he wants to move forward and get everyone

in the right direction.
