Minutes for February 5 ,2008

VP Edminsten called meeting to order at 7:02

Pledge of allegiance to the flag

Accept minutes for January 2007 . Motion by Kevin Carroll, Second by

Matt Hirchak. Motion passed by members present at meeting.

Secretary Warren Flatt - Read thank you note from Springstead High

School for our donation

V.P Scott Edminsten- negotiations update , no date set to start

negotiations. Kevin Carroll passed on that at the monthly staff

meeting Chief Morrison expressed that the millege reduction is not

going to be as much as predicted and there will be no reason why

negoitations would not resume.

President Troy Hagar- Not available for meeting.

Nick Babino- Update on HARC. Talked to HARC group, the kids are all 18

and over and Nick was hoping to target a younger age . He has a number

for another group and is going to call and then will have more info

later

Mail outs- Rick Sudol discussed about what areas to target and prices

to start. VP Edminsten talked about setting up a committee to get

things started

New business

Diane Rowden campaign. Being held on February 17, 2008. It will be at

Diane?s house from about 1pm to 3pm. Need people to cook at the

campaign, transport grill, and work the cotton candy machine. Need to

be there about 12:30 and until food runs out.

Scott Edminsten about donation for bowl a thon for big brother big

sister. Will wait till next meeting to see if the Union does a lane

sponsor.
